In order to enable the client to budget for the cost of a search and also to remove any perception of compensation bias on the part of our firm we agree to a set fee upon the commencement of a search. The fee is based upon the difficulty of the search and will not change regardless of the compensation of the candidate who is hired. Generally a fee would be an amount equal to thirty per-cent of the first years cash compensation for the position. Fees are billed in two installments: An initial retainer of one third of the fee is due upon execution of the search agreement with the balance due upon completion of the search.
Out-of-pocket expenses are limited to an amount that will be no more than twenty per-cent of the total fee and are billed monthly during the conduct of the search.
Should the individual leave your employ within twelve months we will execute a second search at no additional fee.
